Bio

Daniel Clouse is a musician, teacher, and technologist living in North Carolina.  Mr Clouse teaches at North Carolina Central University and the University of North Carolina- Greensboro.  He is the Assistant Dean of students at Brevard Music Center.  He enjoys plays tuba and banjo in the Piedmont Triad, and throughout the country.

As a tuba player, Mr Clouse has played with professional orchestras in Michigan, Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina.  He is pursuing his Doctorate in Musical Arts at UNCG and is active in the local community as a performer and teacher.

With experience as a professional software engineer, programmer, and web-designer, Mr Clouse has a broad background in technology for the classroom, practice room, board room, or back office.  He advocates the use of Open Source software for students, teachers, researchers, and nonprofit organizations.

As an arts organizer, Mr Clouse has worked for organizations such as The Greensboro Symphony, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and is founding The Red Canoe Music Festival.  He is pursuing a cognate in Arts Administration with his Doctorate at UNCG.
